Full Job Description
The GVP, CPMG will lead the CPMG Team and portfolio of Events. A strong and experienced leader, the GVP will be responsible for the day-to-day management and growth of the business, leading and developing the team, the overall business strategy, directing, managing and delivering the P&L and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional products and community development year-round.

This is a highly collaborative leadership position requiring a strategic thinker who can inspire and develop talent, grow an organization, collaborate across the Company, and contribute directly to business results.

Key Responsibilities
• Responsible to lead, develop and inspire CPMG's leadership and team
• Lead, guide and support the strategic plans for CPMG, resulting in revenue and profitability, competitive advantage and positive customer outcomes
• Oversee Executive Buyer relations, Event strategies, Sales and Marketing, Customer Success/Event Experience, proprietary technology tools and Operations, with a focus on customer delight, growth, strategy, measurement, effectiveness, and efficient management of resources.
• Develop, monitor and update budgets and forecasting to determine progress in attaining and exceeding objectives
• Ensure achievement and reporting of annual operating budget for the business.
• Evolve business model in conjunction with market demand
• Monitors Accounts Receivable for the portfolio
• Oversee technology tools supporting the business strategy
• Continually evaluate business portfolio and work with leadership team to make changes where necessary (whether it be investment, divestiture, or discontinuation)
• Collaborate across Company portfolio and relevant resources to optimize growth and internal resources
• Lead a high-performing team, ensuring the right people are in the right jobs and in the right structure for optimal operations as well as providing pathways for promotability. Evaluate performance of leadership team for attaining results in compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and developing the team. Identify and develop talent, address underperformance.
• Identify acquisition and merger opportunities and direct implementation and oversee integration activities.
• Share insights and knowledge broadly across the Forge community, and within the markets served as appropriate. Routinely communicate with colleagues on both strategy and performance.
• Ensure compliance with Forge policies.
• Ensure the CPMG Group operates with integrity and in a responsible manner, as demonstrated through a positive work environment, high employee engagement, respect for colleagues and the environment, and community engagement. Be a cultural leader across Forge overall.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• 12+ years' experience leading a trade show/media or similar business
• 10+ years leading and managing a team
• Experience managing and delivering a $30m+ business unit
• Strong strategic planning skills with experience developing and executing growth strategies.
• Strong analytical skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management.
• Experience with Salesforce and Hubspot or comparable CRM platforms and data-driven

decision making.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, collaboration, and influencing skills; strong ability to motivate, inspire and lead a team
• Exceptional organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Passion for mentoring and developing talent while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Background in hosted buyer events, B2B events, conferences, or executive community development is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel and interact with attendees at CPMG Events, industry events and customer meetings as needed.
• Excellent management, leadership, communication, collaboration and negotiation skills

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Target Compensation: $200,000 plus Bonus eligible
