Responsibilities

Full Job Description
Essential Functions:

Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and oversee the full sales pipeline for MICE and Affinity Group opportunities across Trade and Direct channels, including lead qualification, sales tracking, CRM reporting, forecasting, and collaboration with leadership to drive conversion and revenue growth strategies.

Lead Management & Business Development: Manage inbound and outbound group sales opportunities while building relationships with travel advisors, agency partners, corporate planners, affinity leaders, and direct clients to support pipeline generation and business conversion efforts.
Proposal & Contract Management: Develop and manage proposals, pricing, contracts, agreements, and related sales documentation while coordinating approvals, negotiations, and compliance with company policies and commercial guidelines throughout the contracting process.

Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate group concessions, amenities, commercial terms, and trade commissions while partnering cross-functionally to drive sales conversion, maximize revenue opportunities, and successfully close group business.

Ancillary Revenue & Upselling Responsibilities: Drive ancillary revenue growth by identifying, promoting, and incorporating upsell opportunities including flights, hotels, transfers, shore excursions, onboard experiences, specialty services, and cabin upgrades throughout the group sales lifecycle.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Regional Sales Directors and internal departments including Revenue Management, Reservations, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and onboard experience teams to support group sales initiatives, operational alignment, and process improvement efforts.

Client & Partner Relationship Management: Deliver a luxury-level client experience through proactive communication, relationship management, post-voyage follow-up, retention strategies, and rebooking efforts that foster long-term partnerships, repeat business, and future sales opportunities.

Skills & Experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in group sales, hospitality, cruise, luxury travel, or related industries
  • Experience managing MICE, affinity, or leisure group business preferred
  • Strong knowledge of group travel segments and needs (affinity, corporate, incentive)
  • Strong understanding of trade distribution channels, commissions, and agency partnerships
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with CRM systems, pipeline management, and sales reporting tools
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence, identify and deliver on client needs
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and levels of leadership
  • Collaborative, innovative, and customer-centric mindset with a focus on achieving business outcomes


Education

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred) and/or 3-5+ years of progressive sales experience in luxury hospitality, travel, or cruise.
