Full Job Description
The Interventional Urology Group Marketing Manager will be responsible for Global Downstream Product Marketing, executing key business initiatives for their product line and therapy areas. This position will support Global Women's Health, Kidney & Bladder Health, and Intibia product lines. The position will set the direction, establish the strategic objectives, and execute competitive downstream activities, including successfully launching products for their respective therapies, products. This position works closely with the regional marketing teams, upstream marketing, innovation, sales team and field-based marketers to drive key marketing initiatives, as well as alignment with cross-functional partners to develop and execute optimal therapy focused strategies to meet the organization's objectives.

Major Areas of Accountability
  • Lead, develop and build an effective marketing team focused on developing and executing marketing strategies for their respective products or programs
  • Manage direct reports to ensure they are performing to their job descriptions and developing professional acumen.
  • Manage all marketing and business aspects of defined products and therapy areas including product launches, forecasting, budgeting, marketing plans, sales and customer training, product improvements, marketing literature and ongoing promotional campaigns and programs that drive growth.
  • Drive initiative on annual marketing plan by working closely with the sales team and other cross functional partners.
  • Develop and lead marketing strategy and implementation for competitive marketing and the implanter strategy for their respective products, therapies
  • Drive and support revenue growth, pricing, and commercialization of Interventional Urology implantable business.
  • Lead the development and execution of new product launches globally to help promote new business opportunities, growth and financial profitability.
  • Identify growth opportunities, define, develop and implement marketing programs, target key customer and patient segments to grow the global business.
  • Support KOL development in the US and develop and leverage relationships with Global KOLs.
  • Develops and coordinates core content covering market knowledge, product knowledge, customer knowledge, key clinical data, as well as relevant selling environment information to ensure new hires are fully knowledgeable of all key focus areas for Coloplast.
  • Develop training curriculum for existing sales force to improve product knowledge, competitive selling skills.
  • Works/travels with field sales representatives in a training capacity with emphasis on new hires, FSTs.
  • Partner with sales training to develop competency in technical skills plus an opportunity for continuing education.
  • Lead the execution of training programs including agenda development, program hosting and program management
  • Partner with EEAP education team to develop global curriculum and education standards.

Basic Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Business or Marketing is required, MBA strongly preferred
  • 7+ years Sales & Marketing experience
  • 2+ years Marketing leadership experience or leadership development training
  • Successful project and team management experience, people management experience preferred
  • Experience in the Endourology medical device business
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong sales orientation and commercial marketing experience. Solid understanding of US and Canadian healthcare value chain
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functions to prioritize and drive strategic objectives
  • Understanding of the nature of sales process in the US
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate high degree of initiative and self-motivation with a strong sense of accountability
  • Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems with minimal direction and make decisions with confidence
  • Aptitude to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines

    Competitive Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $142,213 - $213,319. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or incentives.
