JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Opportunity

The Group Marketing Manager position works out of our Austin, TX or Sylmar, CA location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division.

This is a fully onsite role.

As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats.

This role leads a team focused on upstream marketing, innovation, and new product / program initiation low voltage therapies, including leadless platforms. The individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that both new products and enhancements to existing offerings deliver meaningful value to customers and contribute to advancing the standard of care. The position is responsible for identifying unmet customer needs, shaping product strategy, influencing R&D, and driving new low voltage technologies from concept toward commercialization.

What You'll Work On

  • Lead and develop an upstream marketing team focused on innovation and product development.
  • Define long-term product and portfolio strategies low voltage therapies.
  • Partner closely with R&D, clinical, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams to guide new product development.
  • Gather and translate voice-of-customer insights into product requirements and innovation roadmaps.
  • Assess market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies.
  • Build business cases and support strategic investment decisions for new programs.
  • Engage key physician stakeholders and thought leaders to inform innovation efforts.
  • Lead and / or participate on cross-functional team to support organizational goals.
  • Responsible for all people-management activities including but not limited to:
  • Staff development, mentoring, performance management, engagement and recognition, administrative duties.
  • Deliver on assigned goals on time and within budget.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time domestically and / or internationally by any means necessary to support organizational goals.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree (such as a Master's degree or MBA) is desired;
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with or expose to sales and/or marketing in the following areas: healthcare, medical devices, or medical diagnostics to develop the competence required to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position.
  • Candidate / incumbent should possess the following: - understanding of the technology and capabilities of the Division's products; - understanding of market and customer dynamics; - understanding of sales processes; - knowledge of regulations and standards affecting medical devices/diagnostics; - ability to develop, rationalize and present strategy; - strong managerial skills relative to time, budget and people; - ability to work independently and in groups; ability to work cross-functionally; - ability to apply analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and critical-thinking skills; ability to make decisions where there are competing demands; - ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications, whether verbal, written or in presentations; - ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software; - ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior;

  • Strategic and tactical decisions will be made based upon data the individual provides and/or presents in a management or informal setting.

$129,300.00 - $258,700.00
