You will partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to understand the evolving medical research landscape, identify opportunities for growth, bring new products and capabilities to market, and translate the depth and quality of EBSCO’s medical research content into compelling customer value.

What You'll Do
  • Own product marketing strategy for EBSCO’s medical research content portfolio, including segmentation, positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies, and launch plans that drive growth and strengthen EBSCO’s position in the medical market.
  • Develop differentiated positioning, value propositions, and messaging that clearly communicate the value of EBSCO’s medical research content and solutions across priority markets, buyers, and users.
  • Drive market engagement, demand, and pipeline growth by partnering with Sales and Marketing to develop segment-specific campaigns and programs that engage priority audiences, support customer acquisition, accelerate pipeline, and expand EBSCO’s presence globally.
  • Develop deep expertise in the medical research and healthcare information market, synthesizing customer needs, competitive intelligence, emerging technologies and content trends to identify opportunities and strengthen EBSCO’s differentiation.
  • Understand how AI is reshaping medical research, information discovery, customer expectations, and the competitive landscape while using AI-powered tools to accelerate research, synthesize insights, and improve product marketing effectiveness.
  • Bring new medical research products, content offerings, capabilities, and enhancements to market, partnering with Product Management and other teams through launch, adoption and growth.
  • Enable Sales to win through presentations, product guides, customer use cases, and other resources that strengthen sales effectiveness.
  • Build relationships with key customers, medical and healthcare thought leaders, and subject-matter experts and translate those relationships into thought leadership opportunities that strengthen EBSCO’s position in the market.
  • Establish and track measures of go-to-market success across priority segments, using engagement, pipeline contribution, customer acquisition, campaign performance and business results to continuously optimize strategy.
Your Team

You will be part of EBSCO Information Services’ Marketing organization and play a key role in shaping how EBSCO brings its medical research content and solutions to market globally.

This is a highly cross-functional role. You will partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to connect market and customer insights with product strategy and go-to-market execution.

About You

  • Combine quantitative and qualitative insights to identify, size, and prioritize market segments and translate those insights into clear decisions about where to compete and how to win.
  • Strong customer and market orientation and seek to deeply understand customer problems, workflows, behaviors, expectations, and buying criteria.
  • Comfortable using generative AI and other AI-powered tools in your everyday work and actively explore how AI can improve market research, customer insight, segmentation, messaging, and product marketing effectiveness.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and can communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively across executive presentations, strategic briefs, customer-facing messaging, thought leadership, and sales enablement.
