Job Description:
MRM Health is looking for a Group Copy Supervisor to join the team. The Group Copy Supervisor will be a brand steward and category champion, responsible for having a deep understanding of the brand, its benefits, and competitive differentiation. Working with art partners will own all day-to-day writing responsibilities for assigned healthcare/pharma-related HCP or DTC accounts. The ideal candidate is passionate about healthcare and will have the skills and experience to think strategically, supply creative ideas and concepts, and execute across a range of mediums and to a wide variety of audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Copy lead for a portfolio of business and inspire creative excellence across multiple brands or portfolio
- Partner with cross-functional team members to ensure proper staffing, adhere to internal processes, and deliver work on time and on budget
- Expert knowledge about the brand, disease state, clinical trials and data, and competitive products
- Present creative work and ideas for large initiatives/programs to clients; engage in creative solution conversations with client
- Proactively seek out opportunities to grow the business and make recommendations
- Lead new business pitch opportunities
- Present at client meetings and engage in discussions, serving up solutions and ideas
- Works collaboratively with all cross-functional team members throughout agency
- Supervises multiple direct reports; oversee workload, creative output, provide regular feedback, execute performance reviews, and aid in career development
- Attend market research and workshops as needed
Education and Experience:
- 6-7 years of pharmaceutical copy supervisory experience within a fast-paced agency setting
- Pharmaceutical and/or healthcare copywriting experience is a must
- A compelling portfolio included with your application
- Previous leadership experience
- Solid presentations skills
- Proven ability to engage in creative conversations internally and with clients
- Motivated to seek/gain additional creative opportunities and/or work on new business pitches
- Proactive about expanding knowledge of trends so you can share new ideas with your team
This role is based in New York City. The salary range for this position is $135,000-$150,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.$135,000-$150,000
Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
