Full Job Description
Torch Technologies is seeking a Ground Test Integration Support Specialist to be a part of the Mission Test Director (MTD) Support team, acting as an integration support for event coordination, configuration control, and test tracking. They will support planning, integration and execution of Ground and Continuous Developmental Integration test events. As a Ground Test Integration Support Specialist your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: • Test Planning & Documentation Architecture: Act as the central hub for test preparation. This involves supporting the development and drafting documents, and coordinating communications requirements are aligned prior to execution. • Configuration & Performance Tracking: Maintain data integrity throughout the test lifecycle. This includes managing configuration control logs, tracking change requests, building high-side logbooks, monitoring the success/failure of individual test cases, and providing Daily End-of-Day (EOD) reports to the test community. • Support to the Mission Test Director: Track test case performance and assist MTD Support Team with decision-making and documentation. Provide MTD status slides for the weekly Event Status Meeting. Provide support on high-side networks during active test events. The tracks live metrics and compiles the final, comprehensive Test Execution Report and summarize performance issues for tracking. • Develop and maintain overarching and per-test case Architecture and Test visuals, ensuring timely posting to both High and Low Side portals. • Draft and distribute the Test Plans before execution begins, and post daily's to portals for community visibility. • Track individual Change Requests (CRs) and dynamically update Architecture and System Under Test documentation accordingly. Maintain Configuration Control Logs per test phase, meticulously capturing configuration changes and notes at the test case level. • Monitor and track test case success/failures, generating and distributing Daily End-of-Day (EOD) Reports on both High and Low Side networks. • Generate status slides to support weekly Event Status Meetings. • Create classified logbooks for each test case to be used during execution for active note-taking and milestone tracking. • Compile the final Test Execution Report, summarizing overall performance, anomalies, and operational outcomes. Required Qualifications: • U.S. Citizenship • Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of experience in test planning, coordination, execution support, or a related technical field, preferably within a Department of War (DoW) or Missile Defense Agency (MDA) environment. • OR Associates Degree with 5+ years of experience in test planning, coordination, execution support, or a related technical field, preferably within a Department of War (DoW) or Missile Defense Agency (MDA) environment. • OR High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience in test planning, coordination, execution support, or a related technical field, preferably within a Department of War (DoW) or Missile Defense Agency (MDA) environment. • Active Secret clearance is required. • Proven capability to draft technical military test documentation, including Test Execution Reports. • Experience maintaining strict configuration control logs and change tracking in a fast-paced test environment. • Ability to coordinate across regional, theater, and multi-service participants to distribute critical communications data. • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure during real-time test execution, providing rapid data logging and decision support. • Travel: Ability to travel up to 5-25% to support mission events and meetings. • Work Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work extended hours and non-standard shifts-including nights (e.g., 7:00 PM-3:00 AM or Midnight-8:00 AM) and weekends. During major test campaigns, personnel may be required to work non-traditional workweeks (e.g., shifts starting on weekends and running through mid-week) for 5 to 6 consecutive weeks., including occasional nights or weekends depending on the test window. Preferred Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in test planning, coordination, execution support, or a related technical field, preferably within a Department of War (DoW) or Missile Defense Agency (MDA) environment. • Active Top Secret Clearance. • Experience supporting integrated system test events. • Familiarity with MDS Element configurations and operations; and DoW Operational Testing (OT) and Development Testing (DT).
