Full Job Description
General Purpose:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating high-quality, innovative, and creative graphics and visual content related to marketing, business development, client service efforts, and other firm initiatives. This position serves as a key creative professional supporting both internal and external visual communication and design projects across web, social media platforms, and print.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Web Design & Digital
  • Creates, produces, and manages various creative projects including intranet graphics, social media, multimedia assets website, and digital or collateral that reflect firm expertise and values.
  • Partner with web developers to ensure accurate design implementation and manage ongoing website updates.
  • Design responsive website page updates and digital marketing materials that optimize user experience across all devices.

Print & Collateral Design
  • Creates, produces, and manages various creative projects including advertisements, event collateral, presentations, publications and other print collaterals that reflect firm expertise and values.
  • Manage print production including vendor relationships, specifications, quality control, and budget oversight.
  • Create client-facing and internal materials that maintain brand consistency.

Design and Project Management
  • Manage multiple creative projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain brand style guide covering logo usage, color palettes, typography and imagery standards. Establish design standards that reflect the firm's professional reputation and values.
  • Monitor all firm communications to ensure brand compliance and provide guidance on proper brand usage.
  • Conduct periodic brand audits to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Recommend brand evolution strategies to align with firm growth and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with marketing, business development, and leadership to understand firm objectives and translate them into design initiatives.
  • Develop annual design roadmaps and project calendars.
  • Identify design trends and best practices relevant to legal services marketing.
  • Maintain and organize digital asset libraries and brand documentation for team access.
  • Perform additional duties and tasks assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to supporting the firm's overall objectives.

Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification):
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, visual communications, marketing or related field, or four (4) years of directly-related experience/education required.
  • Three (3) years of graphic design experience in a professional services environment, an ad agency, or graphic design firm required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Experience with Microsoft Copilot preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro. Working knowledge of other Adobe products a plus.
  • Outstanding creativity and attention to detail; flexibility and persistence with the ability to work with little supervision and collaborate with the team.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least ten (10) pounds; have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment; speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person.

Work Environment:

Professional office atmosphere. Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing for prolonged periods. Schedule:

At this time, this position allows for a hybrid schedule, generally in-office 2-3 days per week. Additional days in-office may be required depending on business need and the demands of specific tasks. The hybrid work structure may change at any time, including the number of in-office days requirement.

Compensation:

Holland & Hart offers of employment take into consideration a candidate's education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance. The Colorado & Nevada salary range is $30.50 to $50.84 per hour.
