Job DescriptionDewberry has an immediate opening in our New York, NY office for a Graduate Engineer - Mechanical Engineer with 1+ years of design experience in the design of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire protection systems, for commercial, industrial and institutional facilities. and Infrastructure support.
Responsibilities
Focus will be on assisting senior engineers in HVAC systems design, sustainable design, and energy efficiency for buildings, however, this position may also include assisting with other building systems and the construction process in the various engineering disciplines practiced by Dewberry such as plumbing and fire protection systems design, construction services, field surveying and administrative duties.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- BSME Degree from an ABET Accredited College or University.
- Experience with AutoCad MEP a must and experience with Revit MEP software is a plus.
- EIT certification is plus.
- Internship, part time, or full-time experience in the MEP engineering industry is a plus.
- The position requires a strong academic technical background with good communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to commute into NYC and possess an active driver’s license.

Salary Range
The projected range for this position is $80,698-$83,198 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly. These ranges are for NY only.
