Mercer is seeking candidates for the Government Healthcare Provider Rate Setting Lead Consultant position. Having fun in the work you do comes from being a part of a client team and contributing to its success We will count on you to: • Work with client and team project managers to clearly define the scope, timelines and deliverable(s) of the project; ensure development and proposes essential project documents, including the budget and work plans • Translate actuarial results and medical cost trends into policy and reimbursement recommendations Analytics & Technical Tools • Thrive and be motivated by an environment that embraces AI and technology-enabled tools. • Review cost trend and utilization analysis, financial forecasting and revenue adequacy analysis What you need to have: • BA/BS degree • 10+ years of healthcare financial analysis experience, including Medicaid managed care, rate analysis, and provider payment modeling • Experience presenting financial analyses to executive leadership and state Medicaid stakeholders • Advanced Excel financial modeling skills What makes you stand out: • Previous consulting experience The applicable base salary range for this role is $151,000 to $302,500. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
