Your Key Responsibilities

As a member of the People Consulting team focused on HR and business performance, you will join a talented group of professionals that help support the design and implementation of HR operating models and technology solutions; improve HR process efficiency; manage people risks; automate how HR processes are delivered at scale to help organizations successfully transition to a future state; and advise organizations on a range of challenges that are associated with major transformations. You will work with others to engage and build relationships with colleagues and clients, while helping to advise key stakeholders. You will also work collaboratively to deliver innovative and insightful solutions for a range of challenges, simple and complex and approaches. Our key capabilities include the following:

Skills and Attributes for Success

Some key capabilities you should be prepared to bring to client facing and internal initiative teams include:
  • Demonstrate working knowledge, aptitude, and/or experience in some of our key capabilities. For example, AI and leading-edge technology, HR operating delivery model, HR process efficiency, and take a practical, business-driven approach to solving complex client challenges.
  • Take a practical approach to solving issues with data driven solutions and client consensus.
  • Encourage and facilitate collaboration among team members; promote an inclusive working environment
  • Be able to identify and help manage any potential issues and risks during a client assignment
  • Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals, presentations for potential clients and thought leadership brochures
  • Support and lead certain engagement activities from planning through to implementation

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Relevant professional service experience - including, for example, previous work with a Big Four firm, global management consultancy firm, or niche consultancy, or performing an in-house role in which you gained exposure to a large scale project(s)
  • Ideally one year of prior experience in HR technology solutions, HR operating and delivery model, HR process efficiency and policy
  • Personal success in current job with experience in one or more of our capabilities (see above)
  • Have a primary degree and/or relevant post-graduate qualification is a plus
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher
  • Willingness to travel 20 - 30% or more. Due to the nature of our work in the Government and Public Sector, work may be required to be completed at client, EY and/or contractor sites. Our goal is to assign professionals to projects within a commutable distance of their work location office. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.

Ideally, you will also have
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $71,500 to $118,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $85,900 to $134,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
  • Under our flexible vacation policy, you'll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
