Your key responsibilities As a member of our Transformation Execution Team, you will help government clients strengthen program management across integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, risk, procurement and stakeholder engagement. Serving as the client's documentation expert, you will deliver polished, review-ready products that advance division priorities and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and have access to robust PM training and in-house leadership. Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to and leading collaborative teams across dynamic client engagements
- Collecting and analyzing data independently and collaboratively to recommend organizational, process and technology improvements
- Delivering high-quality program management and documentation support to government clients
- Building trusted relationships and collaborating effectively across client, stakeholder and EY teams
- Communicating the value of and supporting implementation of EY US portfolio, program and project management methodologies
- Coaching and developing professionals while supporting broader talent and competency initiatives
- Drafting, editing and formatting policies, directives, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and implementation guidance
- Developing briefing decks, talking points and executive correspondence for leadership review
- Preparing issue papers, decision memoranda and white papers to support division objectives
- Managing complex, cross-branch reviews; reconciling feedback; and incorporating comments
- Maintaining templates, rigorous version control and consistent formatting standards
- Creating process documentation and operational workflow diagrams
- Supporting audit responses, official data calls and After Action Reports (AARs)
- Ensuring all deliverables comply with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) writing and formatting standards
- Supporting communications and strategic messaging for Trusted Workforce 2.0 and other division initiatives

- Applying industry trends and leading practices to generate client insights and identify business development opportunities
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in finance, accounting, engineering or a related business field, plus at least two years of consulting or relevant industry experience
- At least one year of experience leading engagement teams
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Process improvement
- Stakeholder and customer engagement support
- Performance management, measurement and metrics development
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Proactively identifying team and client needs
- Working independently with minimal supervision
- Managing shifting priorities and evolving client needs
- Coaching or developing junior team members
- Demonstrating strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
- Applying analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with one or more PM software packages, such as Microsoft Project or Oracle Primavera
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance or higher.
- Willingness and ability to travel based on client and project needs-approximately 30% for federal roles and 80% for state, local and education roles
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Prior experience serving government clients within a Big Four firm, global consulting organization or government-focused organization

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job is:
- New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices - $83,500 to $125,300
- Bay Area California offices - $87,100 to $130,600
- All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento - $69,700 to $114,800
- Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
