Role Overview:This role is for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and technical engineer specializing in the enterprise collaboration suite. The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and architecture of core collaboration platforms, primarily Google Workspace, Smartsheet, and Lucidchart, to support a global workforce. Key responsibilities include designing and executing global rollouts, establishing configuration baselines, and implementing robust security controls and governance policies in collaboration with various internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and technical engineer for the enterprise collaboration suite, including Google Workspace (Admin Console, Gmail, Drive, Vault, Gemini), Smartsheet, and Lucidchart.
- Lead the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and architecture of all core collaboration platforms to support a global workforce.
- Design and execute global rollouts, configuration baselines, and change management processes for new and existing features and tools.
- Implement, maintain, and enforce security controls and governance policies (DLP, data residency, conditional access, SSO/SAML, OAuth) in close collaboration with Information Security, Compliance, and Identity teams.
Required Skills:- Deep expertise in Google Workspace administration (Admin Console, Gmail, Drive, Vault, Gemini, SSO/SAML).
- Strong experience with collaboration platforms (Smartsheet, Lucidchart).
- Hands-on scripting & automation skills (Google Apps Script, Python, PowerShell, GAM).
- Security and governance implementation (DLP, data residency, conditional access, OAuth, compliance controls).
- Experience with large scale, global rollouts or enterprise migrations (e.g., M365 12 Google Drive).
- Knowledge of IT asset management and license optimization.
- Integration experience with enterprise systems (Workflow automation across departments).
Qualifications:Preferred Skills:- Leadership experience in managing or guiding technical teams (ability to mentor engineers, provide technical direction, and act as the escalation point).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (comfortable working with leadership, InfoSec, Compliance, IAM, and cross functional teams).
- Experience driving enterprise level collaboration strategy (creating roadmaps, evaluating new tools, recommending adoption paths).
- Project leadership experience in platform upgrades or migrations (coordinating timelines, dependencies, change management, and global rollouts).
