Full Job Description
Mission of the Role:
FleetPulse is hiring a GTM Engineer to own the commercial technology stack that powers how we find, win, and retain customers. This is a hands-on, build-from-scratch role sitting inside the Commercial Operations team - the person we hire will be the primary owner of Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, and the integrations between them. This means being the architect for everything that makes our revenue engine run. This is not a maintenance role - it is a build role, and the right candidate will have execution, testing, and learning mindset.
Must-Haves:
• Salesforce - hands-on configuration and administration. Can build flows, configure custom objects, write SOQL queries, manage permissions, and build reports and dashboards.
• Integration experience - has connected tools via APIs, Zapier, Make (Integromat), or custom scripts. Can look at two systems that don't talk to each other and figure out how to make them talk.
• Clay or equivalent enrichment tool - has built prospecting workflows using data enrichment, lead scoring logic, and automated list-building. This is central to what FleetPulse is scaling.
• HubSpot - comfortable in the platform, can manage contacts, campaigns, and workflows. Not just a user - an administrator.
• Light scripting ability - Python or JavaScript at a functional level. Enough to write a webhook handler, automate a data pull, or clean and transform a dataset. This is not a full engineering role, but some code is required.
• Able to work without a technical team as a safety net. This person will own problems end-to-end - diagnose, build, test, ship - without a dedicated engineering team to hand off to.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Lemlist, Instantly, or outbound email sequencing platform experience.
• Has built a GTM stack from the ground up at a startup - not just inherited someone else's architecture.
• Experience with fleet, logistics, transportation, or industrial SaaS - understands the buyer and the workflow context.
