What You Will Be Doing

The GMP Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of cleaning, sanitization, and support services within GMP-regulated and other critical environments. The GMP Account Manager has operational and financial accountability for assigned account(s), ensuring compliance with customer requirements, FDA and regulatory expectations, and CSI quality standards. This role is responsible for managing site operations, developing team members, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring exceptional service delivery.

GMP Account Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned GMP account(s), building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Ensure all cleaning and sanitization activities meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.
  • Monitor GMP compliance throughout the facility, including adherence to SOPs, GxP documentation practices, and applicable FDA regulations.
  • Conduct routine quality inspections, audits, and performance reviews to ensure service excellence.
  • Develop and monitor key performance metrics, identifying trends and implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Manage, train, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Lead onboarding and training programs for new employees, including GMP-specific procedures, safety requirements, and site protocols.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer concerns, requests, and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate staffing levels and resource allocation to support operational efficiency and business objectives.
  • Manage labor, supply, and operating budgets to achieve financial performance targets.
  • Review payroll and timekeeping records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain inventory levels for cleaning supplies, equipment, and consumables.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that enhance quality, efficiency, compliance, and cost savings.
  • Support business growth initiatives, including project implementation, scope expansions, and new GMP opportunities.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing all company safety policies and investigating incidents as required.
  • Prepare and deliver regular operational reports highlighting performance, compliance, financial results, improvement initiatives, and customer satisfaction metrics.


GMP Account Manager Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressively responsible management experience in GMP-regulated environments, technical cleaning, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, semiconductor, cleanroom operations, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer relationships and service delivery within regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, GxP documentation practices, FDA regulations, ISO standards, and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience hiring, training, coaching, and developing teams.
  • Strong financial and operational management skills, including budgeting, labor management, and cost control.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based reporting systems.
