    • Drive EOL and second-source strategies to mitigate single-source risk and support long-term supply chain resilience
  • Sourcing & Negotiation
    • Lead end-to-end sourcing events including market analysis, RFx development, supplier evaluation, and commercial negotiation for complex direct materials contracts

    • Interface with Legal and Compliance teams on supplier contracts, NDA management, and audit readiness
    • Support weekly executive reporting cadences (e.g., Staff Snapshots, MIL tracker reviews) with clear, actionable supply chain updates
  • Risk & Escalation Management
    • Proactively identify and escalate supply risks - including line-down risks, LLT shortages, and geopolitical/logistics disruptions - with mitigation plans
    • Own supplier dispute resolution, including commercial escalations related to missed shipment commitments, expedite fees, and quality escapes
    • Maintain MIL tracker and issue logs with up-to-date status and accountability across supplier deliverables
Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in direct materials procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management in a hardware-intensive environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing physical product categories - preferably consumer electronics, bicycles, e-mobility, robotics, or adjacent hardware platforms
  • Deep knowledge of APAC supplier ecosystems and manufacturing processes (FATP, SMT, mechanical assembly, battery pack assembly)
  • Proven track record of leading complex commercial negotiations with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers
  • Strong command of BOM cost structures, should-cost modeling, and cost reduction methodologies
