Job Overview
This position is part of the Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT) Operations Finance Global Center of Excellence (COE) with primary responsibility for financial controlling and business partnering with the global supply chain function
Key Requirements
• Inventory & DOH management
• Drive effective inventory management strategies and modelling (warehouse, in-transit, reserves, WIP) to support global revenue and cost targets
• Lead Days on Hand (DOH) management across global ICT ensuring BU targets are met
• Collaborate with FP&A on CapVar modelling and impact analysis
• Global Freight & Purchase Burden
• Lead global freight cost and burden recovery forecasting, variance analysis, controlling, modelling and communication
• Monitor and evaluate incoterms with the support of procurement and selling functions to determine cost effective strategies for ICT
• Lead the Upstream Freight Optimization (UFO) project in EMEA in tandem with global supply chain
• Global Logistics Allocations
• Business partner with Corporate Global Logistics (GLOG) and internal supply chain to drive cost controls, transparency and forecast accuracy
• Lead global allocation forecast across 5+ DCs (AMER & EMEA)
• Own the financial controlling of ICT's customer fulfillment center (CFC)
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with supply chain team, operations, and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective controlling, production, and operation strategies
• Collaborate with GLOG to drive additional savings and process improvements at the various DCs
Short Description
• Global Consolidation
• Support operations finance global consolidation efforts as it pertains to functional spending, freight, inventory and footprint
• System & Process Optimization
• Continuously evaluate and improve freight, inventory, DOH reporting and visualization to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Standardize commit forecasting, month end, quarterly, and yearly deliverables and analyses
• Ensure accurate and up to date DOA and internal controls around premium freight
• Manage TEBIT approvals and P&L impacts as it pertains to supply chain initiatives
What your background should look like
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 5+ years' experience in Finance related function
• Experience in a global environment preferred
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting
• Proficiency in data manipulation using tools like Excel, experience with SAP is necessary and familiarity with SAC/Hyperion a plus
• Interpersonal skills: exceptional verbal/written communication
• Must be curious, mentally agile and have a bias towards continuous improvement
• Self-driven, able to work autonomously
• Minimal travel required

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $112,000 - $140,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
