What We're Doing:
As the RMS Global Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, executing, and evolving a comprehensive set of international security policies, plans and practices that consistently and efficiently promote the safety and security of RMS personnel, operations, and assets abroad. This role will act as the primary interface with Corporate Global Security for RMS Security Operations on all RMS global security initiatives and non-US business. You will be expected to answer for outcomes across the globe when emergent issues arise at any hour of the day. You will manage a team with other Global Security Professionals and be required to frequently engage our Crisis Management, Physical Security and Corporate Teams.

The Work:
• Manage our Global Security Team and form relationships with product line international facing programs. The focus will be to ensure employees traveling or living abroad receive the appropriate security measures, awareness, training and solidify a method of communication to ensure timely and efficient reporting of employees and well-being in times of incidents.
• Candidate would be expected to be available to respond 24/7 to support crisis incidents and critical travel support. Additionally, while the position is designed to be primarily teleworking, the selected candidate will have requirements to travel to support tradeshows, site assessments, and support other mission needs.
• Establish cross-functional and business area collaboration forums to help integrate global business security needs including in the establishment of new Non-U.S. Office locations for construction and those site's security needs.
• Effectively partner, liaison and influence a large network of internal organizations as well as an assortment of external private and government agencies.
• Must have knowledge of Department of War deployment support and security processes in high security risk locations.
• Collaborate with the RMS Crisis Management Team and provide guidance in the development, testing and socialization of RMS global crisis management and emergency plans and assistance strategies.

• Work directly with the Corporate Global Emergency Operations Center and Corporate Global Security on plans including program executable response, recovery, and contingencies for all RMS international programs.
• Understand the changing global environment, continuously evaluating the RMS footprint with country security risks assessments, balancing our risk exposure to travelers/expats.
• Communicate succinctly and perform in-depth security risk analysis and make recommendations to ensure the safety of our non-US locations, employee travelers and those residing abroad in high-risk locations.

Basic Qualifications
• Candidate must be team oriented and possess basic operational experience in international security. Applicant must be a self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently across an ambiguous and uncertain international risk landscape.
• The ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive and risk-managed security recommendations, based on limited and conflicting information, is essential.
• Must have effective time management, writing, communication, presentation development, organizational skills, project management, leadership skills, and the ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual or stressful situations.
• Prior hands-on experience working within the international security community (either as US Government, Department of War or Civilian Contractor employee) is required.
• Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, multi-cultural awareness and analytical skills are also required.
• Must have effective written and verbal communication, analytical and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to produce complex security risk analysis assessments and reports. Also required is the ability to articulate and present concise and risk-managed recommendations in a timely manner. The ability to articulate and present cost effective, intelligent, decisive, and international security recommendations is also necessary.
• Must be willing to travel globally and able to conduct vulnerability assessments, crisis preparedness planning and response or recovery activities in elevated risk locations.
• Will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to US classified information at the TS level. Eligible to access Export Controlled information as defined by US law and contracts.

Desired skills
• Candidate would ideally have experience with military support operations in high-risk environments, often in non-disclosed locations.
• Experience dealing with military and other government agencies in the preparation for and during international events.
• Ability to think quickly on their feet, pulling from operational experience and working with minimal data to make vital business and personnel decisions.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University, preferably in a related discipline or field of study.
• Proficient knowledge and use of all Microsoft Office Professional Suite, Teams, SharePoint, database management tools, and other basic IT or web enabling skills is also desired.

Ability to work remotely

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $117,200 - $206,770. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $134,900 - $233,680. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
