About the role:The Global Product Manager for Endoluminal Surgery is responsible for shaping the portfolio strategy, guiding organic product development teams and adopting a hybrid portfolio approach that leverages external development partners to accelerate speed to market. Endoluminal Surgery is a key investment area for the Endoscopy business, making this a high visibility role with potential to have a significant impact on the long-term growth of the business. The ideal candidate brings a mix of clinical understanding, customer insights, strategic thinking, financial acumen and cross functional collaboration that enables development of compelling business cases and strong execution that lay the foundation for commercial success.
Work Mode: At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be at a BSC office location at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include: Portfolio Strategy - Own the overall upstream marketing strategy and drive execution through a hybrid portfolio approach that augments organic product development with acquisitions, distribution agreements and co-development approaches
- Acquire deep clinical knowledge of endoluminal surgery and third space endoscopy through engagement with current and potential customers, market research and partnership with internal stakeholders
- Closely monitor and track global market trends to and adapt strategy dynamically to ensure portfolio is well positioned for growth through changes in the clinical approach and competitive landscape
- Make strategic recommendations to optimize product offerings, initiate new programs and drive future growth based on customer needs, data and detailed financial analytics
Product Development - Act as upstream marketing lead for multiple global and regional projects simultaneously, including leading the creation of market specifications and financial models independently
- Navigate a highly complex, matrixed organization to guide products through the product development lifecycle
- Translate customer needs into clear, well documented user needs to guide R&D and other cross functional teams through technology development
Leadership and Team Development - Partner with downstream marketing to maintain pulse and collaborate on launch planning to ensure seamless transition from upstream to downstream
- Serve as a role model for cross-functional collaboration, creating alignment in early-stage initiatives with high ambiguity and complexity.
Required qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least 4 years of professional experience
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%, including internationally
- Global upstream experience (i.e. customer insights, market assessments, financial modelling, commercial strategy development)
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrix organization
Preferred qualifications: - 2 years of progressive product marketing roles in the medical device industry
- Clinical understanding of endoscopic procedures and customer value drivers
- Strategic thinker with a bias for action and innovation
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or Master's in a related field)
