THE ROLE

Global PD Manager, Bedding

We are seeking a Global PD Manager, Bedding to join our growing team at Quince. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring products are launched in a timely manner while achieving the highest quality standards.

We believe the marketplace for consumer products is inundated with too many options, and customers find product quality difficult to determine and yet frequently pay more for a variety of things that can be delivered at much lower prices. Our goal is to find the best products in the marketplace and connect the makers of these goods directly to the customers who want them.

Quince has proven the consumer value proposition and has built a loyal, repeat consumer base. We want to build on that value proposition and continue to scale in both existing and new product categories. The Global PD Manager, Bedding will be responsible for accelerating the development of new products, consistently raising the bar on quality, ensuring consistent execution across our vendor base, and aligning cross-functional teams around shared new product metrics and goals.

Quince's growth and success is directly tied to the performance and success of this role. The person in this role will be an innovator at heart leveraging the attributes below to build and run our emerging categories strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Own and actively manage day-to-day product development timelines across new products, color and size extensions, vendor transitions, and refreshes, tracking milestones and escalating risks early.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across Merchandising, Sourcing, Fit, Technical Development, Materials, QA, Creative, and Vendors to ensure alignment on development status and dependencies.
  • Ensure all required product documentation is accurate, complete, and ready prior to vendor handoff, including technical specifications, build documentation, testing requirements, and fit inputs.
  • Coordinate and track all sample requests, shipments, reviews, fit requests, and revisions to drive efficiency and maintain momentum toward target timelines.
  • Facilitate timely product reviews and approvals by Merchandising, Fit, and Technical teams; track testing requests and results to ensure quality outcomes are clearly communicated.
  • Run in-person country development trips with Global Merchants, Global Fit, and Local PD teams to accelerate decision-making and strengthen vendor execution.
  • Partner with Sourcing to support timely staging of materials and finished-goods production; coordinate delivery of photo samples to Creative to ensure marketing and launch readiness.
  • Maintain clean, accurate, real-time data across all product development systems and tracking tools to ensure transparency and support fast execution.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Role is based in San Francisco California, with 3 days per week in office requirement.
  • 10+ years in product development or factory-facing roles
  • Deep functional category expertise, including product and material standardsExtensive experience working directly with factories and sample rooms
  • Comfortable operating independently and navigating ambiguity Highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical with focus on execution, problem-solving, improving processes and quality enhancement
  • Clear communicator across language, cultural, and functional boundaries
  • Proven track record of progressing within an organization and demonstrating continuous growth in roles and responsibilities
  • Continuous learner and highly curious; always open to considering new perspectives; proactive when changing course and facing added challenges
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated by working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, where flexibility to stretch into or out of functional comfort zones is crucial for team success
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred

Pay Range: $125,000 - $170,000

All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.
