Full Job Description
Your Role: As a Medical Director within the Global Medical Unit, you will serve as a key scientific leader responsible for shaping and driving evidence generation strategy for a high-priority oncology asset. In this role, you will shape how medical evidence is defined, prioritized, generated, planned, and executed to support the asset strategy and address critical evidence gaps. You will work in close partnership with the Global Medical Strategy Lead and a broad network of internal and external stakeholders, translating scientific insights and external landscape intelligence into actionable evidence plans that advance medical decision-making and support the long-term success of the asset.

You will:
  • Lead the development and execution of the integrated evidence generation strategy, ensuring alignment with Global Medical Unit priorities and broader asset objectives.
  • Lead the Identification and prioritization of medical evidence gaps and translate them into a differentiated integrated evidence plan
  • Lead the development of evidence generation concepts from scientific questions through study design and execution, ensuring scientific rigor, feasibility, differentiation, and strategic relevance.
  • Build strategic partnership with external experts and clinical investigators to challenge and validate evidence priorities, inform study design and identify emerging evidence needs
  • Support advisory boards, scientific exchange, and selected external engagements to gather insights and refine evidence priorities
  • Provide scientific leadership in cross - functional strategy forums, ensuring evidence priorities inform and are aligned with broader asset strategy.
  • Partner with the Global Medical Strategy Lead and cross-functional stakeholders to translate asset strategy into prioritized evidence generation activities.
  • Support advisory boards, scientific exchange, and selected external engagements to gather insights and refine evidence priorities.
  • Maintain a deep scientific, clinical, and competitive landscape expertise and translate emerging insights into strategic implications for the asset. Translate insights from internal and external interactions into actionable recommendations for evidence generation and medical planning.
  • Foster strong collaboration across Global Medical and partner functions to support aligned and efficient execution.
  • Contribute to the development and review of scientific materials, medical content, and evidence-focused communications


Who You Are

Basic / Minimum Qualifications:
  • MD/PhD/PharmD or equivalent advanced scientific degree is preferred
  • 5+ years in Medical Affairs or clinical development in global position in oncology
  • 5+ years of oncology experience required including experience with rare tumor types such as desmoid tumors, neurofibromatosis-related tumors, or tenosynovial giant cell tumors.
  • 8+ years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience in medical affairs, clinical development, research and development, or evidence generation.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing evidence generation strategies, including interventional studies, real word evidence, and investigator-sponsored research.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD) strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to work independently and influence outcomes within matrixed, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience developing evidence plans, medical gap analyses, or evidence generation strategies across the product lifecycle.
  • Experience supporting advisory boards, scientific exchange initiatives, and external stakeholder engagements.


Pay Transparency

US Pay Range for this position - $185,800 - $278,600. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
