About the Role

As Global Master Planning Leader within Gore Fabrics, this leader is accountable for business-wide aggregate supply chain (Material & Capacity) and inventory planning across respective businesses. The role leads a globally distributed Master Planning team and ensures that mid-to-long term supply plans are integrated, scenario-based, financially-informed, and reliable.

The Global Master Planning Leader is led by the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Ops Planning) Leader and is accountable for process adherence of his team and accountable to develop relevant and meaningful input for and output of the Supply Review and for its facilitation.

This position offers flexible work arrangement options, including on-site at our facility in Elkton, Maryland or Putzbrunn, Germany, hybrid in most locations within the United States or Germany.

Pay and Benefits:
  • $152,000 - $199,000 per year
  • Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing Global Master Planning team with a Lean, Gemba, and customer-focused mindset
  • Foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence aligned with Gore's guiding principles
  • Establish clear priorities, planning standards, and governance aligned with the Gore Fabrics SIOP operating model
  • Partner with the Process and Data CoE and Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Plant Leadership to deliver integrated planning outcomes
  • Own the constrained global supply, capacity, and inventory plan across the SIOP planning horizon
  • Lead mid- and long-term capacity planning, including Resource Requirements Planning (RRP), aligned with business strategy and growth plans
  • Define and govern inventory strategies, including inventory positioning, safety stock, and decoupling points, to optimize customer service, working capital, and supply resilience
  • Partner with Sourcing to assess supplier capability, constraints, and supply risks impacting the global supply plan
  • Partner closely with the SIOP Leader, Demand Planning Leader, and SC Operations team to enable integrated, cross-functional business decisions
  • Establish and govern global planning parameters, assumptions, and planning policies across businesses, regions, and plants
  • Ensure clear separation between strategic planning and plant execution while maintaining strong alignment with detailed scheduling and operational delivery
  • Reconcile aggregate supply plans with Master Production Schedules across Make-to-Stock, Assemble-to-Order, and Make-to-Order environments to proactively identify gaps and risks


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline OR relevant Supply Chain education e.g. APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP)
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Master Planning, Supply Planning, SIOP/S&OP, Integrated Business Planning, or related supply chain leadership roles within a manufacturing environment
  • Deep expertise in mid- and long-term supply, capacity, and inventory planning across complex manufacturing operations
  • Experience leading or developing globally distributed planning organizations or enterprise-wide planning initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience establishing planning governance, standard planning processes, and scalable planning capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment across Commercial, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supply Chain without formal authority
  • Proven ability to translate business strategy into integrated supply, inventory, and capacity plans that balance customer service, lead time competitiveness, working capital, and financial performance
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to simplify complexity, connect strategy to execution, and make data-driven decisions through scenario planning and financial analysis
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to lead organizational change in a global matrix environment
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
