Full Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on, strategic Global IT Hardware Asset Manager to build and lead the strategy, governance, and lifecycle management of our enterprise-wide hardware asset management function. This role is critical in ensuring asset visibility, financial accountability, and operational efficiency through standardized processes and advanced platform capabilities, with a strong focus on ServiceNow HAM Pro.

This is a builder-operator role-you will inherit an existing HAM function that has already been stood up and now requires maturing the team and infrastructure while driving execution, adoption, and measurable business value across a global environment.

This position can be fully remote so long as based in the lower 48 United States.

You Will Make an Impact By
  • Building and leading the global Hardware Asset Management (HAM) function, including strategy, operating model, and roadmap
  • Owning and advancing ServiceNow HAM Pro capabilities, driving configuration, automation, and adoption
  • Establishing and standardizing end-to-end asset lifecycle processes across global teams and regions
  • Driving data quality, governance, and system alignment across HAM Pro, CMDB, and infrastructure environments
  • Delivering actionable insights on asset lifecycle, utilization, risk, and cost optimization
  • Influencing cross-functional stakeholders (Infrastructure, Procurement, Finance, Field Services) to drive adoption and process discipline

Skills You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management / Hardware Asset Management, including global scope
  • 5+ years of experience people management
  • Proven experience building or transforming a HAM program (not just maintaining one)
  • Hands-on expertise with ServiceNow HAM Pro, including implementation and optimization
  • Strong process, data governance, and lifecycle management expertise, with the ability to drive change and influence adoption

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in global manufacturing or engineering-intensive environments with diverse asset types (EUC, lab, shop floor, data center).
  • Experience integrating HAM with discovery tools, endpoint management, and procurement systems.
  • Strong analytical and reporting experience (e.g., ServiceNow dashboards, Power BI, Excel).
  • Experience driving cost optimization, asset reuse, and lifecycle planning programs at scale.
  • ServiceNow certifications (HAM Pro, ITSM, or related) preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].

Benefits: MKS offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance coverage (medical, dental and vision), 401(k) with company match, life and disability insurance, 12 paid holidays, sick time, 15 paid vacation days, [6 weeks fully paid] parental leave, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement [and for participation in any stock programs, signing bonus, etc.].
