We are seeking someone to join our team as a Global Financial Crimes (GFC) : KYC Controls Monitoring and Screening Professional.

In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm's management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. This is an level position within the Monitoring and Screening team where you will assist with development and optimization of the KYC Controls program including the Enterprise Customer Risk Ranking (ECRR) and Negative News & Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) screening to meet new or evolving regulatory requirements, industry best practices and Firm/GFC risk tolerances.

In Global Financial Crimes (GFC), you will play a critical role in identifying potentially suspicious activity, protecting vulnerable individuals, and safeguarding the integrity of the financial system. GFC coordinates day-to-day implementation of the Firm's financial crime prevention efforts. Including governance, oversight and execution of the Firm's Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, Anti-Corruption and Government and Political Activities Compliance programs

What You'll Do in the Role

  • Lead and enhance client screening capabilities, including Negative News Screening (NNS), Politically Exposed Person (PEP), and KYC-related controls.
  • Analyze large datasets to assess screening populations, alert performance, match effectiveness, data quality, and the impact of screening changes.
  • Execute screening testing and model analysis, including ATL/BTL testing, threshold calibration, name matching, and rule effectiveness assessments.
  • Develop data-driven tuning recommendations that balance screening effectiveness, regulatory requirements, operational impacts, and false positive reduction.
  • Support screening technology implementations, migrations, and enhancements through validation, reconciliation, testing, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Partner across GFC, KYC, Operations, Technology, Data, and Risk teams to drive remediation, optimization, governance, and regulatory-ready documentation.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • 3+ years of experience in financial crimes compliance, KYC, client screening, screening analytics, or related risk and control functions.
  • Strong knowledge of NNS, PEP, sanctions, customer due diligence, ongoing screening, and financial crimes risk management concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with screening testing, threshold tuning, name-matching analysis, sensitivity testing, and screening effectiveness assessments.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities, including SQL, large dataset analysis, data reconciliation, data quality reviews, and root-cause investigations.
  • Ability to translate quantitative findings into clear, defensible recommendations and support technology implementations, migrations, and remediation programs.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
