General Summary

The Global Director of Quality is responsible for oversight of Quality Management and Continuous Improvement Programs for Team Industrial Services globally. The position is ultimately responsible for all corporate and Divisional Quality and Continuous support personnel. The successful candidate provides the necessary management and oversight to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of TEAM's Quality Management System (QMS) as well as the supplemental Quality Control and Technical programs. Position is responsible for managing and coordinating all Quality support activities relating to the execution of the Quality Management System (QMS) for Team Corporate, Product and Service Line, Engineering and Manufacturing, and Operations. Global Director of Quality is responsible for operating on a cost-effective basis within the framework of company approved policies, objectives, and budgets.

Essential Job Functions
• Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety and quality standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern
• Adheres to and is a champion of TEAM's Core Values
• Establish a continuous improvement culture across the enterprise utilizing known methods and concepts such as Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, Kaizen, Poka-yoke, CAPA, 8D, etc.
• Maintains contact with district, division and corporate levels to promote and instill a "Quality Culture" throughout the organization.
• Ensure TEAMs QMS is globally consistent and regionally precise based on local requirements.
• When necessary, provide training to affected personnel, including customers, to obtain maximum process efficiency, productivity, cooperation, and morale.
• Leads the Enterprise management review to evaluate quality objectives, assess the adequacy and effectiveness and continuing suitability of the existing QMS and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage the Supplier Quality Management program and supports third-party and Customer assessments.
• Ensures company-wide targets and objectives are established and action plans are developed and tracked to achieve them.
• Development and implementation of performance monitoring and measurement system of leading and lagging KPIs to evaluate performance across the entire supply chain - Supplier - Order Intake - Engineering - Manufacturing - Installation - Service - Warranty.
• Development and implementation of system of associating and tracking non-conformances with costs for supplier claims, internal issues and customer escapes. This includes understanding the company's Cost of Poor Quality and Non-Conformance Costs.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, including Quality-related initiatives.
• Develops medium to long-term operating strategies and recommendations for plans and programs for increasing TEAM's Quality performance.
• Prepare capital expense and operating budgets and ensure cost-effective departmental operations.
• Support sales efforts when necessary, including the completion of pre-qualification surveys and submission of controlled quality documents to customer representatives.
• Have a general understanding of all company products and services that are available to our customers, and how TEAM's Quality program applies to these areas.
• Ensures the Enterprise external certifications (ISO-9001, Nuclear, Aerospace, etc.) are maintained.

Job Qualifications
• Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred. Continuous Improvement Methodology certifications such as Six Sigma is preferred.
• Experience in Oil and Gas, Lean Manufacturing, Petrochemical, or a Field Service Industry is a must.
• 15 years' experience in Quality or Operational Excellence related function.
• Experience with problem solving methods such as A3, FMEA, etc. preferred.
• Experience in introducing/implementing a solid warranty tracking system that captures accurate Customer and or Field related issues.
