As the
Global Director, GTM Adi Planner, you will be responsible for leading the global go-to-market (GTM) strategy, planning, and execution for
Adi Planner and all future
Adi Clinic solutions. This role will serve as the central orchestrator across product management/deployment and regional commercial teams to ensure successful product launches, adoption, and lifecycle growth. You will define and scale repeatable GTM frameworks, ensuring alignment across regions while balancing global consistency with local market needs. You will play a critical leadership role in positioning Adi Clinic solutions as integral components of the Adi digital ecosystem, driving value realization for customers and accelerating business growth at our
Fort Worth, TX location. In this role a typical day will include:
- Lead the global launch strategy and execution for Adi Planner and future Adi Clinic solutions.
- Develop scalable GTM frameworks, playbooks, and launch models for digital product rollouts.
- Define product positioning, segmentation, and value propositions.
- Ensure alignment across global, regional, and local stakeholders for successful commercialization.
- Act as the central point of coordination across Product Management, Franchise, Training, and Regional commercial teams.
- Partner with Surgical Digital Product leadership to align GTM strategies with product roadmaps and release cycles.
- Ensure readiness of customer-facing teams (Sales, Clinical, Field Service).
- Oversee development of sales tools, promotional assets, and training programs in partnership with training teams.
- Define strategies to drive customer onboarding, adoption, and long-term engagement.
- Partner with deployment and support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Establish feedback loops with customers and field teams to inform continuous improvement.
- Gather and synthesize market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence.
- Define success metrics and KPIs for GTM performance, adoption, and growth.
- Communicate GTM strategy, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Ensure transparency across teams regarding risks, dependencies, and launch readiness.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+6 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand
- 10 Years of Relevant Experience
- 6 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
- Experience leading global product launches
- Strong experience in global go-to-market strategy and product commercialization, preferably in MedTech or digital health.
- Good understanding of Alcon clinic/OR equipment and connectivity/clinical workflows.
- Experience launching complex, multi-stakeholder solutions across global markets.
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- General understanding of healthcare IT environments (EHR, PMS, interoperability standards such as HL7/FHIR preferred).
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Travel: up to 30%.
