AI SDLC expectations include:
  • Define and prioritize AI use cases aligned to product outcomes for authorized parties and permissions management, including measurable success metrics and guardrails
  • Assess data readiness and partner with data engineering and governance teams on sourcing, data quality, lineage, access controls, retention, and documentation required for AI/ML use
  • Partner with engineering, data science, and platform teams on model development or model selection (including build versus buy considerations), with clear requirements for explainability and fit-for-purpose performance
  • Ensure governance-aligned delivery, including documentation, auditability, and active partnership with model risk and control functions throughout design, implementation, approval, and ongoing monitoring
  • Apply AI within complex, permissioned data environments (high sensitivity, high consequence workflows) while maintaining strict adherence to entitlements, audit trails, and least-privilege access
