General SummaryThe Global Art Director is responsible for leading and defining the visual identity of the brand across all global markets and channels. This role oversees the conceptual development and execution of creative campaigns, ensuring brand consistency, innovation, and excellence across digital, print, social media, e-commerce, retail, internal usage, and experiential touchpoints. The Global Art Director collaborates closely with marketing, creative, product, and regional teams to deliver compelling visual storytelling that drives brand awareness, engagement, and business growth. This position is an individual contributor.
Essential Job Responsibilities1.Creative Leadership- Lead the development and execution of the brand's global visual strategy.
- Establish and maintain a cohesive creative vision across all consumer touchpoints.
- Direct the conceptualization and design of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Ensure creative work aligns with brand standards, business objectives, and audience needs.
- Champion innovation, creativity, and best practices within the creative organization.
2.Brand Management- Evolve global brand guidelines and visual identity standards.
- Ensure consistent brand representation across regions, channels, and platforms.
- Review and approve creative deliverables to maintain quality and brand integrity.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen brand differentiation through visual storytelling.
3.Campaign & Content Development- Lead creative direction for advertising campaigns, product launches, brand initiatives, and seasonal marketing programs.
- Partner with copywriters, photographers, videographers, and external agencies to create compelling content.
- Direct photoshoots, video productions, and creative executions from concept through final delivery.
- Ensure creative assets meet performance, brand, and market requirements.
4.Cross-Functional Collaboration- Translate business objectives and consumer insights into visually impactful creative solutions.
- Present creative concepts and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and production partners.
5.Project & Budget Management- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Oversee creative budgets, production costs, and resource allocation.
- Evaluate and optimize creative processes for efficiency and scalability.
Knowledge/Educational Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive creative experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Experience directing integrated global campaigns across multiple channels and markets.
• Background working with consumer brands, agencies, or in-house creative teams.
• Experience managing creative teams and external agency relationships.
• Demonstrated conceptual and design performance
• Strong understanding of branding, typography, photography, digital design, and visual storytelling.
• Knowledge of content creation, digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce best practices.
• Solid project management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
• Works effectively within a matrixed, global organization; builds internal/external relations, demonstrated influencing, and collaboration skills sets to drive decisions, and establish credibility.
• Able to work in a fast pace organization.
• Conversant in the English language, verbal/written communication; exhibits excellent presentation, analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.); Microsoft Office skills, demonstrated command of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
