Your role and responsibilities
As a Solution Architect specializing in Technology Expert Labs for AI within IBM's Data Platform, you will provide clients with world-class services to optimize the configuration, deployment, adoption, usage, and analysis of their AI products. This role requires deep expertise in delivering solutions that meet client needs and drive business outcomes.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Design and Optimize AI Solutions: Define and implement optimized configurations for AI products, including watsonx Code Assistant, watsonx Orchestrate, and Business Analytics Enterprise, to meet client requirements and improve product adoption.
• Deliver Client-Facing Services: Provide expert guidance and support to clients on the deployment, usage, and analysis of AI products, ensuring seamless integration and maximum ROI.
• Collaborate on Solution Delivery: Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions that address specific business challenges and opportunities.
• Develop Adoption Strategies: Create and implement strategies to drive adoption and usage of AI products, leveraging best practices and industry expertise.
• Analyze Client Outcomes: Conduct analysis and provide insights on client outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

Required technical and professional expertise
• Deep Expertise in AI Products: Proven experience with AI products such as watsonx Code Assistant, watsonx Orchestrate, Business Analytics Enterprise, and other related technologies, with a strong understanding of their configuration, deployment, and adoption.
• Solution Design and Optimization: Experience designing and implementing optimized configurations for AI products to meet client requirements and improve product adoption, with a focus on driving business outcomes.
• Client-Facing Service Delivery: Experience providing expert guidance and support to clients on the deployment, usage, and analysis of AI products, ensuring seamless integration and maximum ROI.
• Solution Delivery Collaboration: Experience working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions that address specific business challenges and opportunities.
• AI Adoption Strategy Development: Experience creating and implementing strategies to drive adoption and usage of AI products, leveraging best practices and industry expertise.
5+ years delivering AI, data science, machine learning, and Generative AI solutions in client-facing pre-sales, consulting, or post-sales environments.
• Proven ability to translate business objectives into scalable architectures and lead delivery from discovery and requirements through production implementation.
• Hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, machine learning, deep learning, NLP, time-series analysis, recommendation systems, data visualization, Generative AI, RAG, Agentic AI, LangChain, and LangFlow.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and communicating solution strategy, architecture, outcomes, and value to business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and cloud-native solution design, including Red Hat OpenShift deployments, reusable architecture patterns, automation, and delivery assets.

• Deep Understanding of AI Technologies: Familiarity with a broad range of AI products, including watsonx Code Assistant, watsonx Orchestrate, Business Analytics Enterprise, and other related technologies, with an understanding of their configuration, deployment, and adoption.
• Experience with Cloud-Based Solutions: Knowledge of cloud-based platforms and their application in delivering AI solutions, including scalability, security, and integration considerations.
• Industry-Specific AI Applications: Exposure to industry-specific applications of AI, such as automation, predictive analytics, and natural language processing, with an understanding of their potential business benefits.
