Commercial Glazing Project Manager Location: Wilmington, NC Job Type: Full-Time An established commercial glazing contractor serving the Wilmington market is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team. The company specializes in commercial glass, glazing, and architectural systems, working with general contractors, developers, architects, and owners on a range of commercial construction projects. The Project Manager will oversee projects from contract award through completion, managing project coordination, scheduling, procurement, budgets, documentation, and customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial glazing and the ability to successfully coordinate projects from initial handoff through final closeout. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial glazing projects from contract award through completion. Review contracts, architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Coordinate with general contractors, architects, suppliers, subcontractors, and field installation teams. Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, material procurement, change orders, and project documentation. Monitor project schedules, budgets, costs, and profitability. Coordinate material purchasing and delivery schedules. Work closely with field personnel to resolve installation and coordination issues. Attend project meetings and communicate regularly with customers and project stakeholders. Identify scope changes, project risks, and potential change-order opportunities. Coordinate closely with estimating during project handoff. Maintain accurate project records and ensure projects remain on schedule. Manage punch lists, closeout documentation, warranties, and final completion.
