Full Job Description
The work:
  • Perform advanced geospatial analysis to support nationwide coverage reinvestment activities, including suitability models, geospatial overlays, multi-criteria assessments, and nationwide spatial evaluations to identify optimal AOI candidate locations.
  • Manage, process, and analyze large ArcGIS datasets using scripts, automation, and advanced geoprocessing tools to efficiently handle significant spatial and tabular data inputs.
  • Produce technically accurate maps, layers, models, and documentation packages to support engineering, business, and investment decision-making across multi-state and national public safety programs.
  • Integrate crowdsourced datasets, RAN-derived inputs, and third-party GIS sources to generate insights that guide AOI identification, prioritization, and justification.
  • Solve complex geospatial data challenges by developing, validating, and refining workflows for large datasets to ensure data integrity, repeatability, and auditability.


Here's what you need:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Minimum of 8+ years of GIS analyst experience
    (a graduate certification or advanced degree may offset 1 year of experience).
  • Experience using ArcGIS, data management tools, and scripting to process large databases supporting GIS activities.
  • Experience using ArcGIS Suitability Modeling on a nationwide basis to identify optimal locations aligned with specific goals.
  • Demonstrated relevant knowledge and experience with multi-state and/or national public safety communications programs or projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in problem-solving when handling large datasets within ArcGIS.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using crowdsourced data to produce insights that support investment activities.
  • Familiarity integrating diverse datasets (crowdsourced, RAN inputs, third-party GIS sources) for nationwide analysis.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
