Seattle Children's Foundation is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to build and manage a portfolio of foundation and other institutional funders awarding grants of $50,000 or more to help advance hope, care and cure for all children in the PNW.
Advances Seattle Children's fundraising goals, cultivates relationships with existing and new institutional donors and partners with teams across the organization. Leads the preparation and creation of compelling grant proposals and reports. Manages a robust portfolio of donors. Works with clinical and research staff to identify appropriate funding opportunities and provides appropriate levels of support to fundraising program teams, clinical project teams and investigators to complete submissions. Proactively searches for new prospects and creates and implements strategies to grow grant revenue to meet a broad range of needs that are aligned with the institution's priorities.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum three (3) years formal writing experience.
Minimum three (3) years experience in fundraising or similar experience involving relationship management.

Five (5) years' experience in fundraising and relationship management
Three (3) years' experience in fund-raising in a health care or higher education organization
Experience using Blackbaud CRM or other relationship management software
Experience in technical or scientific writing
Experience in healthcare or higher education setting
Experience managing multi-faceted projects with complex timelines
Compensation Range
$107,431.00 - $161,147.00 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
