L'équipe du Service à la clientèle de P&WC est actuellement à la recherche d'un(e) gestionnaire senior, amélioration continue MRO, qui sera responsable de piloter les projets d'amélioration continue visant à soutenir la stratégie de l'organisation mondiale de Maintenance, Repair et Overhaul (MRO).

Ce rôle est essentiel pour permettre à l'organisation d'atteindre ses objectifs de performance opérationnelle, tout en optimisant les coûts et en améliorant l'expérience des clients et des employés.

Il s'agit d'un poste à temps plein, du lundi au vendredi, avec un horaire flexible, basé à Saint-Hubert et effectué entièrement sur en présentiel.

Description du rôle

Le ou la gestionnaire senior, amélioration continue joue un rôle clé dans l'amélioration de la performance de l'organisation. Relevant du directeur, Stratégie, Transformation et Performance MRO, cette personne aura l'occasion de diriger et de mettre en œuvre des initiatives dans le cadre de notre système d'exploitation CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence).

Basé(e) à notre établissement de Saint-Hubert, le ou la titulaire du poste définira et mettra en œuvre notre vision en matière d'amélioration continue, tout en offrant de la formation, de l'accompagnement (coaching) en amélioration continue et du soutien en gestion du changement principalement pour l'usine de St-Hubert, et également pour d'autres sites MRO de P&WC.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?
  • Collaborer avec des équipes multidisciplinaires afin de développer et d'optimiser les processus, tout en établissant des méthodes de travail normalisées.
  • Superviser l'exécution des initiatives d'amélioration continue au sein des différents services et de l'ensemble de l'organisation, en gérant toutes les étapes, de la génération d'idées à la réalisation des projets et à la gestion du changement.
  • Collaborer avec les responsables des unités d'affaires et des chaînes de valeur afin de mettre en œuvre les meilleures pratiques et les outils d'amélioration des processus reconnus dans l'industrie, tels que le SIPOC, l'analyse d'impact et de maturité, le MFA, le QCPC, le 3P, le VSM et le RCA.
  • Accompagner et former les personnes clés afin de promouvoir une culture d'amélioration continue, en leur offrant un soutien et des ressources de façon continue.
  • Coordonner les activités avec l'équipe centrale CORE afin d'assurer l'alignement avec les normes du système d'exploitation de l'organisation.
  • Soutenir la pérennité et la croissance du conseil central CORE en développant un réseau avec les autres leaders CORE et en favorisant le partage des meilleures pratiques.
  • Agir à titre d'ambassadeur du programme de système d'exploitation de l'organisation afin de l'amener à un niveau de référence (" benchmark ") grâce à l'innovation, à la transformation de la culture, à la formation et à une communication efficace.


Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir?
  • Baccalauréat accompagné d'un minimum de huit (8) années d'expérience dans un environnement manufacturier ou aérospatial, avec une spécialisation en amélioration continue, ou diplôme d'études supérieures accompagné d'un minimum de cinq (5) années d'expérience pertinente.
  • Expérience démontrée dans un poste similaire, axée sur l'amélioration continue, tant dans un environnement manufacturier que dans un contexte d'affaires. Excellentes habiletés interpersonnelles et de communication, avec une capacité reconnue à influencer et à collaborer efficacement avec tous les niveaux de l'organisation.
  • Faire preuve d'un haut niveau de curiosité afin d'identifier les occasions d'amélioration. Expérience en gestion de projets, de leur conception à leur réalisation. Excellente maîtrise des principes et outils Lean, notamment le 6S, la cartographie de la chaîne de valeur (VSM) et les événements Kaizen.
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office.
  • Certification ACE Associate ou ACE Practitioner, ou certification CORE Apprentice ou CORE Champion.
  • Diplôme ou certification en amélioration continue. Expérience dans l'application des outils et méthodologies Six Sigma.
  • Connaissance de la transformation numérique, des nouvelles technologies et des meilleures pratiques de l'industrie aérospatiale et du secteur de la maintenance, réparation et révision (MRO), dans un environnement manufacturier.
  • Ce poste s'inscrit dans un environnement de travail francophone. Why Join The Team?

The P&WC Customer Service team is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Senior Manager, MRO to govern continuous improvement projects in support of the global Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organization's strategy. This role is critical to ensuring the organization meets its operational performance objectives while optimizing costs and enhancing both customer and employee experience.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours, based in St-Hubert and performed entirely on site.

The Continuous Improvement Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's performance. Reporting to the Director, MRO Strategy, Transformation & Performance, this position offers a unique opportunity to lead and implement initiatives as part of our CORE Operating System (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence).

Based at our St-Hubert facility, the candidate will define and implement our continuous improvement vision while providing training, continuous improvement coaching and change management needs for the St-Hubert Facility, as well as for other P&WC MRO facilities.

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize processes, establishing standard work protocols.
  • Oversee the execution of continuous improvement initiatives within individual departments and the entire organization, managing all aspects from idea generation to project execution and change management.
  • Partner with business unit and value stream owners to implement best practices and industry-leading process improvement tools, such as SIPOC, Impact/Maturity analysis, MFA, QCPC, 3P, VSM, and RCA.
  • Coach and train key personnel to foster a continuous improvement culture, providing ongoing support and resources.
  • Coordinate with the CORE central team to ensure alignment with the organization's operating system standards.
  • Support the sustainability and growth of the central council by networking with other CORE leaders and sharing best practices.
  • Act as an advocate for elevating the organization's operating system program to benchmark levels through innovation, culture transformation, training, and effective communication.


What you need to be successful:
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on continuous improvement in both manufacturing and business environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrate a high level of curiosity to identify improvement opportunities. Experience managing projects, from inception to completion. Strong knowledge of Lean principles & tools such as: 6S, VSM, and Kaizen.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • ACE Associate or Practitioner certification, or CORE Apprentice or Champion certification.
  • Continuous improvement diploma or certification. Experienced in applying the Six Sigma toolset.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, new technologies, and industry best practices in Aerospace and MRO, in a manufacturing environment.
  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues
