Ground Engineering Group as a
Geotechnical Engineer based in
Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will contribute to complex infrastructure, transportation, and land development projects across Western Canada while collaborating with industry-leading specialists.
Your Impact- Deliver geotechnical analyses and designs for transportation, infrastructure, and land development projects.
- Perform slope stability, settlement, and numerical modelling to support safe, resilient designs.
- Interpret geotechnical investigations and translate subsurface conditions into practical engineering solutions.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, calculations, and design documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical solutions into broader project designs.
- Support junior engineers and EITs through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
The Skills That Set You Apart- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering.
- 5-10 years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience in a consulting environment.
- Strong technical foundation in soil mechanics, foundation design, and slope stability.
- Experience with geotechnical software such as Slide or Slope/W, PLAXIS, Settle3, CLiq, and CPeT-IT.
- Working knowledge of Python and strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia, or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.

$89,800 - $118,900MB & ON:
$81,900 - $112,800NB, NL, NS, PE & QC:
