The ideal candidate understands how to run geoprocessing tools, automate workflows, and fuse multiple data sources (imagery, FMV, sensor feeds, and analyst inputs) into intuitive and secure products that deliver a Common Operating Picture (COP) to operators and decision makers.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Geospatial Analysis & Production
    • Perform advanced GEOINT analysis of mission data using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise for imagery, sensor, and defense-related datasets
    • Translate mission requirements into production-ready geospatial tools, workflows, webmaps, web applications and geospatial products (PowerPoint, Feature Report Widget, StoryMaps).
    • Design, manage, edit, publish, and manage operational feature classes and hosted feature layers, web maps, and imagery services supporting live missions.
    • Configure and update Common Operating Picture (COP) web applications that integrate analyst inputs, sensor feeds and automated analytics.
    • Build ArcGIS Experience Builder applications, Dashboards and web maps tailored to mission workflows for visualization of operational, intelligence, and sensor data.
    • Conduct data quality control and apply GEOINT tradecraft standards.
  • Real-Time Data & Sensor Integration
    • Implement and support real-time data ingestion pipelines using GeoEvent Server and / or Velocity or similar architectures.
    • Integrate FMV and video-derived metadata (MISB 0601 / KLV) into operational geospatial workflows.
    • Support fusion of available data sources as well as aircraft and ground sensor data into unified geospatial products.
    • Integrate field data collection tools (Survey123, Mission Responder, Field Maps).

  • Application Development (Automation, Analytics & Engineering)

    • Support spatial data architecture and performance optimization using PostgreSQL/PostGIS or equivalent systems.
    • Contribute to machine learning or computer vision pipelines for imagery and video exploitation, where applicable.
  • Collaboration & Mission Support
    • Serve as a technical point of contact between analysts, operators, and engineers.
    • Support rapid prototyping, iterative improvement, and operational sustainment of deployed systems.
