Full Job Description
Job Summary:

To be primarily responsible for managing, planning, establishing and maintaining MTE's Geographic Information Systems and leading GIS personnel in a manner to provide affordable, reliable, safe electricity and outstanding member service.

Job Requirements:
  • Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, Hungry & People Smart).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college is required.
  • Must have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in GIS applications development and/or GIS project management, with at least three (3) years supervisory experience.
  • Must have experience developing GIS networked data model(s), with strong preference given to experience in Esri based GIS.
  • Preference will be given to those with knowledge and experience in GIS data management, integration with NISC ABS and CIS, Outage Management Systems, ADMN, relational database concepts, and power systems components.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to participate in on-the-job training.
