About this vacancy We are seeking a Senior GeoSCADA Software Developer to support the design, development, and optimization of SCADA systems for industrial environments. This is a hands-on senior role with a focus on GeoSCADA application development, asset framework design, and system integration, along with mentoring a small team of developers.
- Design, develop, and maintain GeoSCADA applications
- Build and manage asset frameworks and structured data models
- Lead code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical guidance for 3-5 developers
- Configure and program SCADA systems using InTouch, AVEVA/Wonderware, System Platform
- Integrate SCADA systems with historians such as OSI PI
- Develop custom scripts (Python, JavaScript, C#, VBScript) to enhance system performance
- Perform system testing, commissioning, upgrades, and enhancements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SCADA systems
What we expect from you - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in industrial SCADA environments
- Strong hands-on experience with GeoSCADA (critical)
- Experience with Asset Framework design and development
- Experience with OSI PI (or similar historian systems)
- Hands-on experience with InTouch / AVEVA / Wonderware platforms
- Solid SCADA development and system integration experience
- Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar)
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA/DA, DNP3, TCP/IP)
