Job Description:Parsons is looking for a
Geophysical Data Processor and Analyst to join our industry-leading and rapidly expanding Advanced Geophysical Classification (AGC) team! In this role, you will
work closely with our Project Geophysicists, QC Geophysicists, and other AGC data processors to support Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) investigations and remediation projects
under Parsons DAGCAP program. Parsons is seeking an individual with prior experience processing and analyzing AGC survey data, identifying and classifying subsurface anomalies related to munitions and explosives of concern, and completing project deliverables. As leaders in the application of AGC since its inception, we continue to work on the largest and most challenging AGC sites. We've utilized our experience to develop enhanced leveling, target selection, and feature analysis of AGC data. Current innovations include the application of robotics to support data collection, along with the application of our AGC based tools to other projects including machine learning based analysis of digital elevation models and UAV magnetometry surveys for orphaned wells.
What You'll Be Doing:- Working side-by-side with our AGC data processing team, producing high-quality data for our clients
- Demonstrating capabilities under Parsons DAGCAP program
- Processing, analyzing, and classifying advanced EMI instrument survey data using Oasis Montaj UX-Analyze module, BT Field, EM Class software, and Parsons software tools
- Processing and analyzing DGM survey data using Oasis Montaj UXO Land module.
- Assisting with the development of geophysical technical approaches for MMRP projects
- Capturing lessons learned and developing improvements to existing workflows
- Mentoring more junior data processors
- Assisting with innovative projects
What Required Skills You'll Bring:- At least 5 years of munitions response geophysical work experience, including field experience with geophysical equipment and positioning systems
- Experience with BT Field or EM Class geophysical data processing software
- Four-year degree in geophysics or related field
- Good writing and oral communication skills,
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residence required (government project work)
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:- Experience collecting data with AGC sensors (MetalMapper2x2, MPV, APEX or UltraTEM)
- DAGCAP Certification for Data Processing and Classification
- Experience processing LiDAR datasets including for SLAM positioning
- Developing and modifying scripts to streamline processing workflows
- Experience developing data processing tools and algorithms in Python or other languages

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
