Position Description:Supports reliable and efficient generating station operations by maintaining ell electric distribution equipment, all electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems/subsystems in a state operational readiness.
Essential Job Tasks:- Installs, calibrates, and tests new electrical equipment or existing equipment modifications.
- Maintains a 24-hour/day availability during rotating on-call shits. Maintains 24-hour/day availability for emergency work at night, on weekends and holidays as needed.
- Supervises contract labor assigned to the group when required.
- Complies with all corporate safety requirements. Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Completes all safety and OSHA training requirements on time. Adhere to clearance procedures.
Will consider Generation Technician A or BPosition Requirements: Generation Technician A - High School Diploma/GED +5 years experience required.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of operations, electrical theory, and repair techniques of complex electronic and pneumatic control equipment is required.
- Must be able to enter confined spaces, work at elevations above and below grade, accommodate overtime and on-call status.
Compensation Information: $41.05 - $51.25 (min. - mid.)
Generation Technician B- High School Diploma/GED +2 years experience required.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of operations, electrical theory, and repair techniques of complex electronic and pneumatic control equipment is required.
- Must be able to enter confined spaces, work at elevations above and below grade, accommodate overtime and on-call status.
Compensation Information: $30.05 - $37.55 (min. - mid.)
