Our Edmonton Industrial team, is currently searching for a General Superintendent is a skilled role, in which the General Superintendent is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily activities of multiple industrial cladding crews. The General Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring cladding and architectural systems are built with the highest degree of quality, in the safest and most cost-effective manner. This position works closely with management in order to ensure that all of the necessary work gets done as safe and efficient as possible. A Day In The Life • Process field hours/ Payroll • Assist Construction Manager with project start up list • Monitor employees training and certification validation • Drive crew performance and efficiency • Maintain QC project paperwork throughout the project life cycle • Ensure QC, safety and labour tracking paperwork is being completed by Foreman • Review drawing / details • Monitor toll and equipment inventory • Orchestrate shipment of tools and equipment • Attend on Site handovers / deficiency walks and testing • Pick up/ deliver smaller items as required What We Offer • Competitive wages and benefits • RRSP matching • Great environment where our motto is "Flynn Family Winning Together"! • On-going career development courses and programs through our in-house Flynn University What We Are Seeing • Experience in Industrial cladding and architectural systems is required • Ability to drive anywhere and clean drive abstract • Good communication (verbal & written) • Ability to deal with conflict • Good leadership skills • Good listening skills • Ability to adapt • Time management skills • Problem Solving Skills • Microsoft proficient #LI-YB
