General Practice Veterinarian (DVM) to join our growing small-animal veterinary team in

What We're Looking For:As a
General Practice Veterinarian at Country Brook Animal Hospital, you will provide high-quality medical care to dogs and cats throughout all stages of life.
Responsibilities may include:
- Performing comprehensive wellness and physical examinations
- Developing individualized preventive care plans
- Diagnosing and treating medical conditions
- Performing routine soft-tissue surgical procedures
- Providing general veterinary dentistry and oral health care
- Utilizing in-house diagnostics and other diagnostic tools
- Managing chronic and acute medical conditions
- Educating clients about preventive healthcare, nutrition, diagnostics, and treatment options
- Building long-term relationships with pet owners
- Providing compassionate care during urgent and unexpected medical situations
- Collaborating with veterinary technicians, assistants, client service representatives, and fellow veterinarians
- Maintaining accurate medical records and communicating treatment plans clearly
- Participating in continuing education and ongoing professional development

Qualifications:- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree
- Current Texas veterinary license or eligibility for Texas licensure
- Strong foundation in small-animal medicine
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based veterinary care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative veterinary team
- Strong interest in preventive medicine and wellness
- Comfortable managing routine medical and surgical cases
