Hotel General Manager- Rancho Cucamonga Hilton Garden Inn$95,000 to $105,000 salary BOE Position SummaryThe General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and successful operation of the hotel. This role oversees daily operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and brand compliance while creating an exceptional experience for both guests and team members.
The ideal candidate is a visible leader who enjoys mentoring others, building strong teams, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of hotel operations to maximize guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and financial performance.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing hotel team.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, franchise standards, and operating procedures.
- Manage labor, expenses, and operating budgets while maintaining profitability.
- Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to improve results.
- Foster a culture of outstanding guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness, safety, and property appearance standards.
- Oversee scheduling, payroll, inventory, purchasing, and daily financial reporting.
- Build relationships within the local community and actively participate in sales and marketing initiatives.
- Partner with the Area Director to develop budgets, business plans, and operational strategies.
- Ensure accurate completion of administrative tasks, audits, banking, and reporting requirements.
- Be available to respond to operational needs as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired- Minimum of 2 years of Hotel General Manager experience in a Select Service or Extended Stay hotel.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Experience managing hotel financials, budgets, labor costs, and operational performance.
- Knowledge of scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, and payroll.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
Preferred- Hilton brand experience.
- Experience overseeing a hotel Food & Beverage outlet.
- Associate degree (or higher) in Hospitality, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
