This role is responsible for driving the daily operating rhythm of the site, maintaining visibility across active work, coordinating cross-functional priorities, and ensuring projects move through project management, design, prepress, print production, warehouse/ shipping, and delivery with clarity, discipline, and urgency.

Acting as the connective layer between Charlotte operations and functional leadership, this role supports alignment, issue resolution, schedule management, and execution accountability across all active work. The General Manager will ensure priorities are clear, risks are surfaced early, blockers are removed, and deliverables remain on track in support of client commitments and overall site performance.

This role requires a leader who can operate effectively in a matrixed environment, influence across functions, create structure in a fast-moving operation, and drive accountability while maintaining strong team collaboration and client focus.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The General Manager, Site Operations operates as the site-level execution integrator and operating cadence leader, accountable for:
  • Owning and maintaining visibility to the end-to-end master schedule for Charlotte-driven work
  • Coordinating priorities across project management, design, prepress, print production, warehouse/shipping, and delivery
  • Driving execution discipline, milestone accountability, and timely escalation of risks or capacity constraints
  • Creating site-level reporting and communication rhythms that improve transparency across Charlotte and broader LIVE
    • TEAM leadership
  • Removing blockers, resolving competing priorities, and ensuring teams stay aligned to client commitments
  • Identifying process gaps and driving continuous improvement across scheduling, handoffs, workflows, and reporting

This role is not intended to replace functional leadership across project management, design, print, or production. Instead, it provides site-level coordination, prioritization, operating visibility, and escalation support to ensure the Charlotte operation runs with clarity and consistency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Master Schedule Ownership & Execution Control
  • Own and maintain the end-to-end master production and delivery schedule for all Charlotte-driven work
  • Align timelines across project management, design, print production, prepress, warehouse/shipping, and delivery
  • Ensure resource alignment, sequencing, and production readiness across functions
  • Identify schedule conflicts early and drive timely resolution with the appropriate stakeholders
  • Maintain visibility to capacity constraints, competing priorities, and critical path dependencies

Project Delivery Governance
  • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams for milestones, deadlines, handoffs, and deliverables
  • Track project health across all active Charlotte jobs, including timeline, risk, dependencies, and decision needs
  • Facilitate regular production and delivery meetings to ensure alignment and forward movement
  • Escalate risks, delays, and capacity issues with clear recommendations and proposed next steps
  • Support consistent execution standards across active work, including planning, tracking, production readiness, and delivery follow-through

Site Reporting & Visibility
  • Maintain site-level reporting tools that provide visibility across active work, capacity, risks, and delivery performance
  • Track and report project status, including on track, at risk, delayed, or requiring leadership decision
  • Provide regular reporting to the Associate Vice President, Solutions and functional leadership to support faster decision-making and escalation.

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Serve as the primary integrator across Charlotte project management, design, prepress, print production, warehouse/shipping, and delivery teams
  • Coordinate priorities between local project needs, centralized production resources, and functional leaders
  • Ensure adherence to company processes, workflows, quality standards, and operating expectations

Issue Resolution & Escalation Management
  • Act as the central escalation point for site-level delivery issues and operational blockers
  • Remove blockers by coordinating ownership, next steps, and follow-up across teams
  • Facilitate rapid decision-making when priorities conflict or timelines are at risk
  • Escalate unresolved issues with clear context, options, and recommended action

Client Delivery Support
  • Partner with Project Management to ensure client commitments, timelines, and expectations are understood and supported internally
  • Step in on high-risk, high-visibility, or operationally complex projects as needed
  • Ensure internal alignment supports external commitments and client delivery expectations
  • Support project teams in identifying delivery risks, resource needs, and schedule impacts before they become client-facing issues
  • Help maintain a high standard of service, responsiveness, and execution quality across Charlotte-driven work

Continuous Improvement
  • Identify inefficiencies in scheduling, handoffs, planning, communication, reporting, and workflow management
  • Drive process improvements across project management, design, production, prepress, warehouse/shipping, and delivery
  • Help build a more scalable, disciplined, and repeatable operating model for the Charlotte site

Leadership & Matrix Influence
  • Lead through influence across a matrixed environment where not all functional team members report directly into the role
  • Establish clear expectations, meeting cadences, decision pathways, and accountability routines across the site
  • Build trust with functional leaders and frontline teams through clear communication, follow-through, and problem-solving
  • Model a culture of ownership, urgency, collaboration, and operational discipline
  • Support the Associate Vice President, Solutions by providing local operating visibility, escalation support, and execution leadership

SUCCESS METRICS

  • Timely escalation of risks, capacity constraints, and decision needs with clear recommendations
  • Creation of more scalable, repeatable site operating rhythms and process standards
