General Manager, Property Management is a business leader responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency, financial performance, and overall tenant and customer experience of Mirvish Village, a large-scale mixed-use property in Toronto. The role is accountable for developing and executing business plans, optimizing asset value, and ensuring alignment with ownership objectives across all property management functions. Working closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and other key stakeholders, the General Manager will also support a coordinated approach to the property's food hall, bar, and kitchen operators to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment with the property's overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation and management of operating and capital budgets, monitor financial performance against budget, and address variances.
- Oversee rent collection, arrears resolution, and financial reporting, ensuring financial information is accurate, timely, and supports decision-making.
- Drive net operating income through cost control, revenue optimization, and regular reporting to ownership and key stakeholders.
- Ensure the property is maintained to a high standard and compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships, including security, janitorial, maintenance, contractors, and other service providers.
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, capital projects, landlord work, base building upgrades, and tenant improvements to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with residential leasing and building operations on move-ins, move-outs, suite turnover schedules, suite readiness, and handoffs between leasing and operations teams.
- Deliver superior service to commercial tenants, residential residents, and food hall operators by responding to requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee the coordination of food hall tenants and bar operations, supporting operating standards, programming, marketing, activations, and compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.
- Provide leadership to the property team, establish and improve processes, support recruitment, training, development, communications, and performance management, and ensure a productive and safe working environment.
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in Business Administration, Urban Land Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced education or a relevant professional designation is considered an asset.
- 11 to 15 years of experience managing complex mixed-use assets, including commercial and residential components.
- Strong experience in financial budgeting, reporting, analysis, cost control, and revenue optimization.
- Advanced knowledge of commercial and residential lease structures, administration, and related legal and contractual obligations.
- Strong understanding of applicable legislation and regulations in Ontario.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a multi-disciplinary environment while demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and sound judgement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive and professional relationships with owners, tenants, residents, operators, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with Yardi 7S is preferred.
