Summary: The General Manager, Olive Branch provides overall direction and guidance to the Olive Branch facility. The GM-OB is responsible for all operational activities of the MS facility with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability. This includes day-to-day leadership and management to all MS personnel with the exception of the people located in OB but who report to Managers located elsewhere. For those employees, the GM needs to work closely and in a cooperative manner with the remote reporting manager. This role also has extensive interactions with customers. The GM must work to assure customer satisfaction such that Millstone maximizes both revenue and earnings growth.
Responsibilities:- Direct and coordinate activities consistent with MMO goals, objectives and policies.
- Develop strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to subordinates and other employees.
- Communicate well with customers and develop client relationships
- Maintain a working knowledge of all Millstone services and quality processes
- Communicate effectively with customers in a clear and concise manner
- Data driven and work to make sure adequate metrics are developed and monitored.
Knowledge & Skills- Ability to recognize and communicate potential issues
- Plan ahead and manage multiple priorities
- Effectively train employees, manage and provide leadership
- Knowledge and execution of issues related to FDA/GMP compliance
- Advanced skills with metrics, excel, PowerPoint and word documents
- Experience with ERP software
- Results oriented and ability to multi-task
- Ability to rely on experience and judgment; to plan and accomplish goals
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required Master’s degree preferred
- Requires 10+ years of prior Operations experience
- Prior experience demonstrating effective management skills
