General DescriptionThe General Manager will drive the success of Reconstruction Experts, focusing on business growth, effective project execution, and team leadership. This role requires strategic oversight in areas such as estimating, client growth, production, business development, and talent management.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Inspire and coach the team to ensure continuous business growth. Oversee construction projects to meet schedule, budget, and quality standards. Facilitate ongoing training for Estimators, Superintendents, Technicians, and Administrators.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets and financial forecasts, monitor project profitability, and ensure timely invoicing.
- Strategic Planning: Implement long-term growth strategies, identify expansion opportunities, and engage in contract negotiations and project bidding.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Business Development: Cultivate relationships with key clients and stakeholders while representing Johns Lyng USA at industry functions.
- Health & Safety: Promote adherence to OH&S standards and legal regulations, ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with OSHA policies.
Key Selection Criteria- Strong understanding of construction processes and project management.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
- Financial acumen with expertise in budgeting and cost management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
