Full Job Description
The General Manager will be responsible for customer retention and profitability with a key focus on the variable side, which includes New and Used vehicle sales, Finance and Internet sales. Our ideal candidate has 5+ years' Automotive General Manager Experience.
Responsibilities
• Plans and implements successful dealership operations
• Maintains CSI at or above company standards
• Assesses the operations of all dealership departments
• Works with department managers to improve operations, performance, and profitability
• Supervises department managers
• Oversee training and supervision of all dealership employees
• Oversee hiring and discipline decisions
• Oversees pricing and inventory
• Maintains good working relationship with manufacturers and lending institutions
• Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards
• Encourages compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Serves as effective dealership representative to community
• Oversees balance sheet management
• Maintains effective employee relations
• Conducts weekly manager meetings
• Promote and maintain good ESI
Qualifications
• General Manager with Luxury Dealership Experience is required
• Proven track record
• Strong record of consistent positive Customer Satisfaction results
• Team-oriented
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
