Full Job Description
DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking to hire a General Manager located in Tucson, Arizona. This role will lead a well-established and expanding door business that provides customers with new and replacement doors, as well as repairs to existing doors throughout various buildings.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions with full P&L responsibility.
  • Make informed recommendations for operational and sales procedural/process improvements, implementing changes aimed at increasing customer satisfaction while delivering healthy profit margins and returns on sales that meet or exceed annual financial budgets/forecasts.
  • Assist with employee/job scheduling and provide technical/mechanical troubleshooting and problem resolution support.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure staff complete required daily tasks in accordance with the company's best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilize division financial reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) and metrics in the management of daily operations.
  • Hire, train, and develop new employees; enhance individual performance through daily coaching, monthly P&L and Scorecard reviews, and annual performance evaluations.
  • Effectively lead meetings, set performance expectations, and hold employees accountable.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing personnel, projects, sales, and customer service expectations, as well as operational revenues, expenses, and reporting in a leadership role. Candidates with management experience in the commercial manual, automatic door, and hardware industry, along with strong operational expertise and product knowledge, are encouraged to apply. We will also consider candidates with service provider industry experience, such as HVAC or other construction/building materials businesses, with products sold to end users, installed, and/or serviced at customer sites.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based programs and ERP/CRM systems, along with a good understanding of Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate operational data, processes, procedures, financial results, survey feedback, and other metrics to identify cause/effect relationships, with the ability to isolate key information and assess the impact of process or procedural changes.
  • A strong aptitude for technical applications and mechanical systems.
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.
