Overview

The Services Business Unit Manager will provide leadership and direction for day-to-day execution of work of the assigned business unit including overseeing operations, sales and accounting. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership and direction for the daily operations of the commercial HVAC business unit, overseeing operations, sales, and financial performance.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize business objectives and ensure profitability.
  • Manage and mentor the service team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with corporate operations to share best practices and allocate resources effectively.
  • Handle hiring, disciplinary actions, and personnel development to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Achieve and exceed growth and financial goals, including monitoring KPIs such as safety, sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and develop reliable financial projections.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field; PMP certification and EPA Refrigerant Certification preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on safety and operational excellence.
