General Manager to lead a luxury public-facing café in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
This role is ideal for a hospitality leader with a strong
culinary background and exceptional operational expertise. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the business, balancing an elevated guest experience with financial performance, team leadership, and culinary excellence. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading front-of-house operations, collaborating with chefs, and driving a high-performing hospitality culture.
What You'll Do- Lead all daily café operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and consistently high service standards.
- Partner with culinary leadership to deliver innovative, high-quality food and beverage offerings.
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing front and back-of-house team.
- Drive financial performance by managing labor, food cost, inventory, purchasing, and operating budgets.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
- Build strong relationships with guests, vendors, and internal stakeholders while creating a culture centered on hospitality.

What You Bring- 5+ years of General Manager or senior hospitality leadership experience.
- Strong culinary background with a deep understanding of kitchen operations, menu development, and food quality.
- Proven experience managing premium cafés, restaurants, hotels, or hospitality-driven foodservice operations.
- Demonstrated financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost control.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- A passion for hospitality, food, and creating memorable guest experiences.
